Propel ("Propel," "we," "us") is a marketing platform that helps small businesses run advertising campaigns, build websites and landing pages, and follow up with leads automatically.
From business accounts: name, email, business name and industry, service area, payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card details), and content you provide for campaigns, websites, and social posts.
From your leads and website/landing page visitors: name, phone number, email address, and any information submitted through an ad form, landing page, or Google Business Profile message, on behalf of the business you've engaged with.
Automatically: usage and analytics data about how you use Propel's dashboard and features.
To provide the service: building and running ad campaigns, generating websites and marketing content, operating the built-in CRM and automated SMS/email follow-up, and providing performance reporting. To improve Propel's product. To communicate with you about your account, billing, and service status.
Where a business uses Propel's SMS follow-up features, leads are only texted after documented consent captured at the point of intake. Every automated text includes a working opt-out (reply STOP), and sends respect quiet hours. SMS consent records are retained for compliance purposes and are never deleted.
We use the following service providers to operate Propel, each acting as a data processor on our behalf: Supabase (database and hosting infrastructure), Stripe (payment processing), Twilio (SMS and voice), Google (Ads, Business Profile, and Gemini AI services), Meta (advertising and social posting), Resend (transactional email), Pexels (stock imagery), Sentry (error monitoring), and PostHog (product analytics). We do not sell personal information.
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of that information, and opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information). To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below.
We retain account data while your account is active and for 90 days after cancellation. Compliance-sensitive records — consent records, audit logs, and message history — are retained beyond that for legal and regulatory purposes and are never deleted.
We use encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and audit logging for administrative access to your data.
Propel is not directed to individuals under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to account holders.
